Student-Athlete Vaccinations
As some students begin to get settled in sports and others prepare for the second semester, they must make sure they get their vaccinations first.

Students who take part in extracurricular programs or sports after school are required to have both doses of their Covid-19 vaccines by no later than October 31, 2021. They’re expected to get their first dose by October 3rd and their second dose no later than the 31st. In addition, all LAUSD students who are 12 or older must get their vaccines by January 10, 2022, if they still wish to continue being a student at Maywood Academy.
“Los Angeles Unified is expanding the safety net we are providing to include vaccinations as part of our commitment to do all we can to protect the health and safety of everyone in the school community,” LAUSD reported.
