It has been approximately four months since the  school year started and the class of 2024  at Maywood Academy still have to adjust to the environment of high school .

It is a process that everyone has to endure, eventually. The class of 2024 missed out on their first year in school.

“It was alright and I wanted to stay home either way,” said Benjamin Del Carmen, a sophomore at Maywood Academy.

“I feel excited and I get to be next to people that I don’t know and haven’t talked to,” said Alexis Camarena, a sophomore at Maywood Academy.

This year’s sophomores may look back at distance learning as a once in a lifetime experience.
