Students at Maywood Academy High School will have the opportunity to visit New York City on a school trip. On Tuesday, September 28th at 6 pm, Leilani Nisperos, college counselor, held a Zoom meeting covering the trip’s information like payment options and activities. The trip will be held on June the 22th – 26th 2022. The group leader is Nisperos and students could still reserve their spot with a deposit fee of $90. Students who are going on the trip will be traveling by the red-eye flight schedule.

On the morning of their first day, there will be guided sightseeing of Midtown, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s, and the Empire State Building. Day 2 students will be seeing the Statue of Liberty and the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. There are plans and activities over the 4 days of the trip for students to do and learn from during their visit. The total price for the trip is $2,100, covering meals and hotel accommodations for students and staff as well as overnight security, traveler support teams, 24-hour  emergency assistance, round-trip transportation, all gratuities, guided tours, and more.
