Nathaly Ochoa got the win off the Pioneers with the team score of 22-7. The senior also had a total of 4 runs and 4 RBIs. She had a 1.000 batting average and 1 home run.

“Well obviously we have one good player right, but I don’t really consider her the star player. Once again, I feel it’s a team sport. We win as a team, we lose as a team. I don’t consider anyone better than anyone else.”

Marisol Tora had one run and 2 RBIs, while Chelsea Duran had 2 runs and 3 RBIs.

Softball player Aileen Melendres saw improvement in the team’s relationship compared to the beginning. “We grew as a family and learned how to communicate.”
